CHEERS WITCHES!

Ya'll. How is it already Halloween? I feel like this year has already flown by! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year – the costumes, the candy... LOVE IT. This year I decided I wanted to conjure up a spooky cocktail with all the witchy vibes.
LAVENDER BLACKBERRY WITCH'S BREW
BLACKBERRY COMPOTE
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries, washed
1/2 cup water
3 TBSP granulated sugar
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
In a medium non-stick sauce pan, cook the blackberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice on medium high, stirring occasionally until the blackberries are soft.
Remove from heat heat and let cool completely.
LAVENDER SYMPLE SYRUP
Ingredients
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lavender buds
Instructions
In a medium non-stick sauce pan, combine the water, sugar, and lavender buds on medium high heat, stirring occasionally.
Once the syrup begins to boil remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Now its time to add some bubbles! Add a tablespoon of blackberry compote to the bottom of your glass and top with a tablespoon of lavender simple syrup. Top off with your favorite chilled rosé and add in a small piece of dry ice. If you choose to use dry ice make sure that it dissolves completely before drinking your cocktail!
I chose to make make these fun sugar rose quartz drink stirrers to garnish... which required making molds from actual crystals and then risking third degree burns while attempting to pour the molten sugar into the molds... TBH pink rock candy on a stick would have done the trick and been way easier. LOL.

And of course it wouldn't be a party without some sweets! So I whipped up some lavender blackberry macarons for the perfect sweet bite!

Thanks for stopping by!
